The three cups
Cup 1: Ink & Word
Ink & Word, Medium: keeping your eye on the ink while the word pulls the other way. Forty-five seconds with 6 colours; the first card is the word ‘purple’ in red ink.
Tip: On the hardest level, learn the button order in the first few seconds. It stays the same for the whole game.
Cup 2: Light Trail
Light Trail, Hard: keeping an order of shapes and notes. The first trail is 4 steps long on 9 panels; each panel glows for 0.36 s.
Tip: Listen as well as look. Each panel always plays the same note, so a trail is also a little tune.
Cup 3: Step Back
Step Back, Position · 3 back: keeping a short list moving through your mind. 23 squares, 6 of them matches, on 8 places of the board.
Tip: Say the last items under your breath and drop the oldest each time: ‘K, R’ becomes ‘R, T’.
