Cup 1: Step Back
Step Back, Letter · 3 back: keeping a short list moving through your mind. 23 letters, 6 of them matches; letters used: C, F, H, K, L, N, R, T.
Tip: In position mode, give the squares names like clock positions; names are easier to shuffle along than places.
Cup 2: Reaction Time
Reaction Time, Go or stop: waiting calmly and moving the instant something changes. The first eight waits fall between 1.2 and 2.74 s, and 3 of those eight signals say Stop.
Tip: Look at the panel, not at your finger. The change is easier to catch straight on.
Cup 3: Ink & Word
Ink & Word, Hard: keeping your eye on the ink while the word pulls the other way. Forty-five seconds with 6 colours and word buttons; the first card is the word ‘red’ in purple ink.
Tip: A wrong tap costs a full second, so a calm correct tap beats a quick wrong one.
