The three cups
Cup 1: Ink & Word
Ink & Word, Hard: keeping your eye on the ink while the word pulls the other way. Forty-five seconds with 6 colours and word buttons; the first card is the word ‘green’ in orange ink.
Tip: On the hardest level, learn the button order in the first few seconds. It stays the same for the whole game.
Cup 2: Flash Grid
Flash Grid, Hard: holding a scattered pattern for a second. The first pattern has 7 tiles on a 4 × 4 grid and stays lit for 1 s.
Tip: Tap the tiles you are sure of first, then the doubtful one. A wrong first tap costs the whole round.
Cup 3: Light Trail
Light Trail, Hard: keeping an order of shapes and notes. The first trail is 4 steps long on 9 panels; each panel glows for 0.36 s.
Tip: Say the trail quietly to yourself by shape: circle, star, drop. Words travel further than pictures for many people.
