The three cups
Cup 1: Ink & Word
Ink & Word, Medium: keeping your eye on the ink while the word pulls the other way. Forty-five seconds with 6 colours; the first card is the word ‘yellow’ in orange ink.
Tip: A wrong tap costs a full second, so a calm correct tap beats a quick wrong one.
Cup 2: Flash Grid
Flash Grid, Medium: holding a scattered pattern for a second. The first pattern has 5 tiles on a 4 × 4 grid and stays lit for 1.1 s.
Tip: When the grid grows, split it in your head into halves and remember which half held more light.
Cup 3: Number Span
Number Span, Backwards · Easy: carrying a number while it grows. The first number has 3 digits, each shown for 0.8 s; type it backwards.
Tip: For backwards, build the number in pairs from the end while it is still appearing, rather than reversing it all at the last moment.
