The three cups
Cup 1: Ink & Word
Ink & Word, Easy: keeping your eye on the ink while the word pulls the other way. Forty-five seconds with 4 colours; the first card is the word ‘green’ in yellow ink.
Tip: On the hardest level, learn the button order in the first few seconds. It stays the same for the whole game.
Cup 2: Step Back
Step Back, Position · 1 back: keeping a short list moving through your mind. 21 squares, 6 of them matches, on 5 places of the board.
Tip: In position mode, give the squares names like clock positions; names are easier to shuffle along than places.
Cup 3: Light Trail
Light Trail, Easy: keeping an order of shapes and notes. The first trail is 3 steps long on 4 panels; each panel glows for 0.52 s.
Tip: Say the trail quietly to yourself by shape: circle, star, drop. Words travel further than pictures for many people.
