Cups in this set
Each cup counts when you play it at the level shown here.
Nothing strong in this pot: three easy cups, short rounds and plenty of room to find a rhythm.
In this pot: hold it in mind, a steady eye, counting. It opens with Quick Sums and finishes with Odd One Out.

The three cups
Cup 1: Quick Sums
Quick Sums, Addition: steady mental arithmetic against a gentle clock. Sixty seconds; the first problem is 2 + 9.
Tip: For subtraction, count up from the smaller number instead of down from the larger one.
Cup 2: Flash Grid
Flash Grid, Easy: holding a scattered pattern for a second. The first pattern has 3 tiles on a 3 × 3 grid and stays lit for 1.11 s.
Tip: Look at the shape, not the tiles one by one. Three tiles often make a corner, a little line or a triangle that is easier to keep than three separate spots.
Cup 3: Odd One Out
Odd One Out, Easy: searching a grid calmly for the one thing that differs. Twelve rounds on grids from 3 × 3 to 5 × 5; differences: a dot more or less ×6, a different shape ×4, a turned symbol ×2.
Tip: Care pays more than haste: each wrong tap adds two seconds, longer than most rounds last.
